The product is made from agricultural materials by means of hydrolysis. It is light yellow to amber coloured transparant liquid. Its colour gradually deepen to brown during storage. It tastes like appricot kernel.
Application:
It can be used lubricating oil refining, furfuryl alcohol production by hydrogenation, making several organic chemical products, such as medicine pesticide. It is utilized as a solvent in petroleum industry.
